Dr. Rachel Harris's passions lie in emergency medicine and critical care.

Dr. Rachel Harris joins Nashville Veterinary Specialists from Birmingham, Alabama where she practiced medicine at Steel City Emergency Vets for three years.

After receiving her undergraduate degree in animal science from Auburn University , Dr. Rachel Harris received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduating in 2019, her focus has been emergency medicine.

When Dr. Rachel Harris isn’t treating her patients, she can be found horseback riding, impulse purchasing houseplants, and patiently awaiting the next Nashville Soccer Club match.
